Psychotherapy Referral Service
The Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis Treatment Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis refers people to psychoanalytically trained, licensed Manhattan Institute candidates and graduates.
The Treatment Center offers once or twice per week psychotherapy and two or three times per week contemporary psychoanalysis at affordable fees. Preference will be given to those seeking multiple times per-week services. Psychoanalytic patients are asked to make a minimum one-year commitment to treatment. Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis requires all patients and all therapists to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Cost
The fee for the initial consultation is $60. Fees for treatment are low to moderate and will be determined by your therapist during your consultation, using a sliding scale. Your fee will be based on your income and any other relevant financial circumstances. Our goal is to provide quality treatment that is affordable to those who need it. We are not in-network with any insurance plans.
Treatment Location
Sessions are held in the quiet, confidential, private offices of our therapists in locations throughout New York City and in the offices at our treatment center on East 13th Street. Sessions will be conducted primarily in-person. Virtual sessions will be held as necessary, depending on circumstances.
